adult literacy center
Provides Literacy, Adult Basic Education, GED, English as a Second Language and Family Literacy Services in the community.
english as a second language
Classes are offered to beginner and intermediate non-English speaking adults to achieve speaking, reading and writing skills and a better understanding of the culture of their new community.
family literacy
Addresses the literacy needs of all members of the family while promoting parents' involvement in their children's education as their children's first teachers and the most powerful influence on their academic success.
one-on-one tutoring
This program provides One-on-One Literacy, Adult Basic Education, math, GED, and/or English as a Second Language tutoring. This program is provided through volunteer tutors in the Pottstown and surrounding communities.
All Adult Literacy programs are free to the community.
ready, set, grow program
Quality state licensed child care: Day Care for children ages 3 months to 5 years.

women excel
A business and professional women's group started in response to community requests. Monthly breakfast meetings give professional women and businesses the opportunity to network, provide support and become aware of local commerce and trade. The group seeks to energize, empower and inspire women to reach their full potential.
Annual membership fee for ywca and EXCEL is $55.00.
